LED Lighting fixtures
LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting fixtures have progressed to be bright enough for architectural illumination. They now also incorporate dimmers and power supplies to operate from any voltage. They can be individually or gang controlled in any fashion using the entertainment industry standard DMX control protocol. Once limited in the color available, they are now color friendly, able to provide direct replacement for incandescent, metal halide, fluorescent or any other type of lighting - at a fraction of the energy and maintenance cost.
From a multi-story-high lobby, to a concert hall, to a school auditorium ceiling, there is now a family of high output, high bay down lighting fixtures available. Choices of light output, beam spread, color temperature, operating voltage, means of mounting, and fixture finish are available, and TSSI will provide you assistance in making these decisions.
If you are installing replacement lighting in a theatre and are using a standard DMX control system, the LED fixtures will integrate with your existing control system.
- If you have a dimming system feeding your existing lighting, you don't need it anymore. Feed the fixtures with direct AC. The dimmer is built-in to each DL type fixture.
- Energy savings credits and $$$$ are also available from local and state agencies and power suppliers.

Smart Series are LED luminaires for drop ceiling, surface mount, and suspended applications.
1:1 replacements for a 2'x4' (Sl-2x2) as well as a 2x2' (SL-1x2) fluorescent fixture, the Smartline series are available in a variety of color temperatures, are line voltage dimmable, and driven with a 64W power supply. DMX and various control capabilities are optional. Ultra-thin form allows many design applications and ideas, including zero plenum.
Smart LED luminaires provide uniform, soft illumination and extended lifetime with significant savings over typical three-lamp parabolic fluorescent fixtures. The Smartline series provide 40%+ energy savings while meeting IESNA recommended illumination levels. Ideal for use in office, hospital, retail, educational, correctional facilities, and other commercial applications requiring a low-lighting power density and LEED points.
Up to 70% efficiencies have been attained with these fully dimmable lighting fixtures over conventional ceiling fluorescents. Light can be controlled to be dim until someone enters the hall, classroom or office, and then go full bright.
